Provision is created in the Spirit realm of Christ and then manifested on earth” – This is some of what Jesus has spoken to me as I come to the end of the 30 days. For those that have been following me as I took this 30 day faith walk journey with Christ. There is more I will share in the upcoming days  but felt to post this article as it helps sum a significant lesson I learned while on this journey.  The following article came as a result of me pondering on the word Jesus gave me, the above sentence written in red:

We think we “make” money or “make” a living by working in the world system. It is true that the Lord does use this present system to provide for us but He is certainly not limited to this one method in order to provide for those that love and serve Him. The truth is He is the provision. He, Himself, is the great supply so therefore has an endless source of supply for all who will trust Him. He is the source and provider of a great supply. ( 3 John 2)

Our God actually delights when His people prosper! (Ps.35:27)

He has made it clear that He wants us to walk in divine health and prosperity. Since He is the creator of all provision we must lean into Him for instructions on each item of need we have. He is a good Father and He always provides. His provision extends to all areas of life. Healing (emotional and physical), protection, stability (all areas), and all forms of provision including financial. His leadership is perfect and He shepherds ‘most excellently’.  He leads us by His Spirit.  Holy Spirit guides and leads us. Stress and striving blocks the flow of Holy Spirit keeping us from being able to respond as we should.  We are vessels and can only contain fear or faith.  Stress, strife, and anxiousness are all forms of fear.  Each day we must make the choice to live in faith. We will either contain fear or faith. We are not capable of containing both.

May we all come to a more complete revelation as to Jesus being our provision. He is not only the source but is the provision each concern or need we would have.

TRAVELING IN NARNIA

Continuing the journey of Faith

I am in the 3rd week of the Sabbatical and it has been an experience hard to explain, in the Sprit realm. It has been like walking into an entirely different realm, then stepping off and “flying” with no visible means of support under me to explain what is keeping me up in the air. Terrifyingly wonderful.  Not sure I mentioned this before but I actually resigned from my job in order to take this journey with Jesus.  He promised me He would take care of me and the journey would be “seamless” in the area of my finances.  Seamless meaning there would be no bill or need that would go unpaid or unmet.  So far this has been more than true.

I am flying on the current of His Spirit while being held up by His Word.

Yesterday, while I was in the PR a friend stopped by to chat with me and then prayed for me. While praying she said she saw a picture of me walking through a door into a place like Narnia.  So last night I watched the movie, ‘Lion, Witch and Wardrobe’.  Many times I get revelation from the parallels I see in a TV show or movie that I feel lead to watch.  These are some of the parallels I see:

  • You must have child like faith to enter NarniaIt requires childlike faith to walk in deep places with Christ.  Child like faith is needed to enter the realms of the supernatural.
  • You make a choice to step out of one realm to enter into Narnia. You have to go through the wardrobe – Walking by faith is a choice.  Many choose not to walk in the deep places of faith due to fear or unbelief.
  • Both worlds are stepped in and out of interchangeably but in the end they had to go back to the natural world to finish out their days there. – Even though the young people were able to go into Narnia they had to come back to the natural realm to continue life. They had been born into a natural world and had to come back into the natural world to live out the rest of their time in that realm. They didn’t leave this life to live in Narnia forever but carried Narnia within them-This is a picture of our lives as believers. We live in the physical realm but carry the realm of heaven within us. We can also step in and out of the supernatural things of Heaven as we walk in the faith realm.
  • The things that happened in Narnia were real and mattered! The things we accomplish in the faith realms greatly matter. In many ways the unseen world is more real than the world we can experience with our 5 senses. In the movie, the things that took place in Narnia didn’t seem to affect life in the natural realm but for the believer everything we do in the spiritual realm affects life on earth. Ezek. 22:30 – We are designed by our creator in 3 dimensional form (body, soul and spirit). Because of this we can be one place physically but still be moving in the spirit in an entirely different place. Whatever realm we live in will be changed by our presence. The enemy knows this also. There is a constant battle for the heart and soul of man. Both the kingdom of heaven and kingdom of wickedness know that the realm we give ourselves to will be changed. We either further the kingdom of heaven or we further the kingdom of the enemy…there is no middle ground. Dan. 2:44 & 7:13-14; John 18:36.

Each one of us has to make a choice as to whether or not go on our own spiritual ‘Narnia’.  We choose.  Jesus is faithful to invite us to move with Him in the deep realms of the spirit but we have to make to choice to walk out the journey with Him.  He will not force us but gently invite and lead.  The journey looks impossible while standing on the shore of “What if’s”. We must choose to step away from the countless ‘what if’s’.  You know the voices that rise up saying things like ‘what if this doesn’t work out?” or “what if I can’t do this?”, “what if I step off the shore only to sink and drown?! Only choosing to look at Jesus and actually taking the step will silence these voices of doubt and unbelief.

I want to encourage all that are reading this article to take the step.  Trust me..If Jesus is telling you to do something He will be there to meet you and make sure you don’t crash and burn but He will be more than enough in every area that you need Him to be. The journey awaits you!

Eyes to see the reality of the Supernatural2 Cor. 5:7– The Lord spoke these words to me recently, “Looking at the circumstances is a trap. Divine strategies come from looking past the circumstances straight into the eyes of Faith. By refusing to believe that your five senses contain the whole story, by coming to the realization that the invisible world of eternity holds more truth and is more real than the physical world that you presently live in.”

By looking through eyes of Faith we are open to an entirely new world.  Things that I have seen for weeks, months or years suddenly now look totally different.  Faith eyes look beyond, they look ahead they see past what presently is to discover what is to come according to the Word of God. Suddenly all circumstances and the physical world take a backseat in how you relate and process life. The realization that all things are possible becomes very real to you. Now things that were once thought to be impossible are now open to you and strategies are given as to how to walk out the Kingdom purposes of heaven.  Wow!

I am finding that Jesus is showing me things step by step and I just have to be willing to believe what He says…Yes, take it at face value, and walk out what He says in daily life.  This was a bit challenging when I first started the journey and I am still learning how to navigate my way in the Spirit while still living out daily life on earth.  Finding that there are some simple requirements in being able to see with eyes of faith. I will share a few I have learned or seeing so far:

You must fully believe in the active function and work of Holy Spirit– In order to be able to see and move deeper in the things of Jesus we must believe that His Spirit moves in power today just like He did in the book of Acts.

You must be willing to lose the word, ‘impossible’, from your language – There is nothing impossible to Jesus.  Everything is open to Him and if He showing you something or telling you something that seems outside the realm of possibility at this point then that is an invitation He is extending in order to bring you into a place of being able to believe for it and receive it.

What you can see, you can have! – I must admit I am still working on this one as I have just started the journey and many things have not manifested as of yet but feel I have come to the place of knowing Jesus is not just showing me these things for no reason and He wants to have all He has promised so I am at a place where He is showing me much more, impacting my heart with strategies and filling me with great hope and expectancy.

Walking in Faith is a journey not a destination- Just as we are changed from glory to glory. ( 2 Cor. 3:17-18) So it is that the walk of faith will have no end on this earth.  There is always another step, more to learn, more of Jesus to encounter in order to live out His purposes and see His Kingdom come.

FAITH STEPS – Part 2

Sabbath rest of the Lord” – As we listen and obey the instructions of the Lord this brings us into a ceasing from our works. A ceasing from our striving, our acts of the flesh and a beginning or ability to rest in the Sabbath rest of God.  The Sabbath rest is not a ceasing from all physical labor but involves an ability to flow in the works of Holy Spirit.  We die to our works and “rest” in the works of Holy Spirit. Out of this appointed rest of flows the kingdom works of Christ. The type of works that moves heaven on earth. These are not works of human striving but works of resting in Christ. There are many benefits to choosing to walk in the rest of Christ, many blessings that will never be realized unless you make the choice to walk out the invitation to rest in Him. One tangible benefit could be our physical health. I sometimes wonder how many current health problems we have in this country are a result our disobedience to Christ therefore our bodies are stressed by pressures we were never meant to carry (Prov. 3: 5-6).  These pressures affect our spirit man as well as our physical man. By the same token, as we learn to enter into the rest of Christ, ceasing from our own efforts high blood pressure, heart disease, anxiety disorders and other stress related illnesses will find not place in us.  We must remember that we are spirit beings living in a physical body. What affects our sprit man will affect our physical bodies..either for good or bad.

We need only take a look at scripture to see some of the consequences of choosing not to enter into the Sabbath rest.  We see from the lives of the people of Israel that unbelief and lack of trust shut the door to entering in. (Heb. 3:7-11) They were denied the rest of the Lord due to their denial of who God is even after He had shown Himself mighty to them for over 40 years while they wandered in the wilderness.  We see from their example that not entering in the rest of the Lord affects your destiny. Indeed, it was only after Moses and all the unbelievers had died that Israel go to come into the land that had been promised. (Num.14) So what does this say to us? How many promises have we missed due to unbelief in Christ and what He tells us to do?

The reality is that we are called to obey an invisible God and allow Him to manifest Himself to us and others in a visible world. We are called to live the supernatural life of faith and trust in while remaining in a physical, natural world.  We are told that the life that pleases Christ is based on our trust in Him. This is to be a lifestyle. Day by day. Moment by moment and it should become as common to us as breathing.  Recently the Lord has given me this invitation to enter into His Sabbath rest. It involves taking a 30 day sabbatical, including some significant lifestyle changes.  I would be lying if I said I knew exactly where this invitation was going to take me as I don’t. I do know I have determined to not walk in fear, trust Him and His care of me and lean into the truth that He knows the destination of the journey and will reveal it to me at His timing.
